You might be thinking, "That's grammatically incorrect. Science isn't a verb!" I am here to vehemently disagree with you. If we can collectively turn "adulting" into a verb, then I will gladly turn science into a verb.

Not to mention that the act of doing science (hereafter to be called "sciencing") is as active as any verb. We get taught the scientific method but we don't often get taught how science really works: the back-and-forth between questions and observations (or background reading), the importance of collaboration, the way scientists figure out how they're going to do something.
