Katie Davis
Ecologist and Geneticist
I am a PhD student at the University of Wyoming. My research interests lie broadly in the field of landscape genetics. In particular, I am interested in how modifications to landscapes can influence genetic diversity and connectivity in species of conservation concern. I also find that genetic techniques are increasingly offering answers to questions that may otherwise be difficult to answer; I’m interested in applying eDNA, population genetic, and landscape genetic techniques to questions about community assembly, animal movement, and structural landscape change.

I am also deeply passionate about outreach for children and undergraduate mentorship in the sciences.
